BeMoved Dance is committed to protecting the health and safety of our dance community, those who are joining BeMoved classes or various training events, and our Instructors. As an organization, we are staying informed about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and monitoring its development in the United States. We are following the advice of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

At this time BeMoved Dance has had to cancel training certifications, and are hoping to still host Chicago Methodology Level-1 Certification training on Aug 15th & 16th 2020. If there are any alert changes regarding risk transmission that affect this, we will notify our community promptly through email and social media. We ask that you confirm with each BeMoved instructor in your area for the most recent class schedule. Please be sure to check in with the instructor or directly with the facility regarding any changes or cancellations of their classes if you are concerned.

For those who are planing to registered, or are planning to register for an IN-PERSON BeMoved certification... in the event, your plans change and you are not able to attend; you can move your IN-PERSON registration to another certification date in 2021, or immediately start your certification training with our ON-LINE certification course at no additional charge. Contact [email protected] for any BeMoved Certification course questions. We can also be reached at (312) 222-1200.

We encourage everyone to continue to practice the following behaviors that prevent the spread of germs:

  1. Wash your hands diligently with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
  2. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  3. Avoid close contact with people who are sick and stay home when you are sick.
  4. Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or the crook of your elbow if a tissue is unavailable.
  5. If you are sick (especially if you are feverish or displaying signs of respiratory illness) or think you may have been exposed to COVID-19, we ask you to please stay home.

If you have concerns about missing events, classes, etc. as a result of this, we would be happy to discuss further with you.
